I am a magazine writer/editor interested in culture, trends, design, and gender. I specialize in launching new media properties, having developed editorial at Medium and the critically acclaimed men’s lifestyle publication MEL. I got my master’s degree at UC Berkeley in 2014, where as the journalism school’s Felker Magazine Fellow, I created my own zine. With Top Down Studio, I now help brands, organizations, and regular people figure out how to make media. You can find me in Los Angeles tending to houseplants and my dog Carmela (pictured at right).
